Understanding the Operation of Howo Water Tanker Truck

Before operating the Howo water tanker truck pump, ensure the liquid level within the pump surpasses the pump shaft. Achieve this by installing an upwardly angled elbow at the pump inlet, followed by a horizontal pipe and a quick connector. Position the centerline of the quick connector 300 mm above the pump shaft’s centerline. Design the inlet piping system to eliminate air leaks, and keep the suction head of the suction pipe fully submerged to prevent air from entering the water line. When connecting the outlet pipe to the pump outlet, extend the straight pipe at least 200 mm before attaching the elbow.

The Howo water tanker truck pump operates with an external mixing self-priming mechanism, requiring a sufficient liquid volume inside the pump. When activated, the impeller rotates and generates negative pressure at the inlet. This negative pressure mixes gas from the suction pipeline with the liquid in the pump, directing the mixture into the gas-liquid separation chamber through the press-out chamber. Due to the specific gravity differences, the gas separates and exits through the outlet pipe, while the liquid gathers in the gas-liquid separation chamber. After multiple cycles, the pump replaces the gas in the suction pipe with liquid, completing the self-priming process and enabling normal operation.

The Howo water tanker truck pump is capable of performing both water absorption and pressurized drainage functions. This self-priming pump can efficiently draw water from a pond into the tank or directly connect to a city street fire hydrant to extract water for sprinkling purposes.
